there is no flexibility, they want a warm body that says RN and they do not want or care if you get a break, lunch or even get to use the restroom as long as their scores are great and the patients are fully satisfied with you

July 2018

The experience can be unique, exciting and valuable for professional growth. There can be a lot of freedom to pursue interesting work. This organization faces typical problems that nonprofit and government organizations face. Department and department head makes all the difference.

April 2018

Their benefits aren't the best because they're run like a traditional company (not a startup or young tech firm)—think 10 days of PTO to start, lack of bonus for editorial roles, no fitness/gym benefit, no laptops for those working at a magazine brand—so these are things you should try to negotiate into your offer. Flexibility widely ranges between groups, so that's another thing to ask about during the interview process.

I've noticed this is really dependent on the group/team. At a magazine brand, there's less flexibility because their schedules are strictly tied to a monthly production/shipping schedule. In other groups, such as digital media, there's more flexibility to work from home, etc.

December 2015

Excellent company to work for - have a diversity and inclusion agenda and are constantly looking at ways to improve it - one of the top companies in the UK to work for in general and that's as well as one of the top for women - know plenty of women in senior positions here.
