Incredibly disorganized and chaotic. Incredibly stressful workplace. Terrible leadership. Deloitte overall is a wonderful company but the Bersin area is in freefall.

Union organization does have its benefits. Full pay for 14 weeks of maternity leave, and a 35 hour week is full time.

January 2016

I've worked here for five years. There are plenty of women on staff at every level, and the work/life balance is phenomenal. But, there is little room for advancement and maternity leave could be more generous considering this is a quasi-academic, lefty institution. The network of networks that we pride ourselves on nurturing strives for diversity, but I've been in plenty of rooms with only old white men in a place of power.

I've been with this company for over 9 years. One thing I will say is if you don't speak your mind (in an appropriate manner)about what you're feeling, your bosses will never know. If they don't know how can they improve? I've learned this this past year with my new boss. It's been working out great, because she knows I'm going to be real with her.
