April 2017

This company consists of mostly women, including the CEO, which is amazing. The CEO is a huge advocate for women in the workplace and has worked with me multiple times to provide a more flexible work week. I currently freelance and am asked constantly how many hours I prefer to work and if I feel over loaded.

August 2016

The talent level you work with is very high. However, there are race & gender disparities built into the system. White males get preference - even by women of color executives. It is a systemic Hollywood problem.

April 2016

Opower has better intentions than it does data or performance. There is a real systemic bias issue, and that won't change until top level leadership changes. That being said, many women have very positive experiences on the day to day, it's just when trying to achieve higher levels of leadership that we seem to hit a ceiling.

The hospital is run by a woman CEO, there are more women than men in positions of leadership in my department and there is a great deal of diversity given the environment.
