February 2016

ExxonMobil has worked very hard to make the culture more flexible and accommodating to all its employees, not just women. It has come a long way since the old "Exxon" days in terms of women in management and embracing diversity and inclusion as key business drivers. While the very top is still white male, there is progress in the middle that should eventually lead to a diverse boardroom. The new campus is an amazing shift towards collaboration, openness and creativity. You area able to grab your laptop and work anywhere, even at home if needed. The wellness facility is top notch and there finally is a day care facility near work. It is about as good as any job can get, if not better. As for maternity leave, there are many options provided including extended time off, part time work and remote work.

February 2016

Worked here for almost 2 years and there are a lot of women, however all but two VP roles is dominated by white men. From what I heard maternity leave isn't long enough. You have to be very careful in reading benefit packages and do lots of research on your own. They aren't the company "looking out for you".

January 2016

It's a company with very little women in leadership role. It's heavily male-dominated. There is no overt discrimination, but the culture is a very male-centric culture

December 2015

The company is mostly made up of women and a lot of the other woman working there are clicky and can be backstabbing. They completely hated me after they found out i was preganant and treated me quite unfairly after that and I never was able to gain respect or be treated fairly after that again. I was just treated as old news. As if i could not get a job done anymore. It was awful!
