I worked there for 2 years. The company is 50 years old and despite that long history, it's never had a female CEO. There are plenty of women in the organization and a few female senior leaders, but men still hold the most senior roles and have the loudest voice. It's a British company so there are cultural differences. People don't say what they really think. The emotional maturity is similar to high school.

Pretty female friendly place-but depends on the department you're in. Generally family is prioritized and we get decent maternity leave (for the US!). Male-dominated culture in management is slowly being chipped away, but very slowly. Majority women in mid-level roles.

Women and men were treated fairly insofar as both were asked to work long hours in a fairly thankless albeit respectful white-collar corporate environment. No distinction was made between female and male associates, and the environment was not "macho" or "bro-oriented" in any way. With respect to women particularly, I did not witness any examples of any women in my department or in many others successfully balancing work and life, and even had one female partner tell me outright that she'd wished she'd made different choices with respect to home and career. Not very inspiring.
