"3M has policies and programs that support women in their career advancement. Career development is very employee led so you need to be willing to invest the time to navigate career resources, find mentors and network within a large matrix organization. Parental leave policies are outstanding. Hopefully the company will invest in other paid leave policies that support women who do not have newborns, ie. paid time off to take care of a parent or older child that requires medical treatment."

"I feel pretty ambivalent about the company. On the one hand, it helped me make a pretty significant career transition without starting over, which was great. On the other hand, I found the leadership pretty uninspiring. Ultimately, I was recently laid off along with 25% of the company last month. It appears things are continuing to go downhill. (It's on the selling block.)"
