You will have close to zero chance of moving up in the company and if your male boss doesn't like you he will give you low-scoring annual reviews which will make it so that your annual performance raise will be only 1% or none at all.

    FO&M is the worst department for flexibility. An employee will get written up and reprimanded if they are 1 second late to work, they are not allowed to eat, sit down, go to the bathroom or talk on the phone unless it is a designated break time, they are not allowed to store food in the office refrigerator for more than 10 hours at a time and they are only allowed access to free, fresh, cold water at a single location that travel time to and from is not allowed for unless it is during a designated break time, as well. They also took first-aid kit access away from employees and foremen.

    I will be taking maternity leave in November of this year (it is currently the end of July). Boise State does not have a maternity leave policy so it relies on expectant mothers to utilize any accrued sick and vacation time and qualifying short-term disability concurrently with FMLA.

At the corporate office, they run lean and expect a lot out of their employees. This can eventually lead to unmanageable workloads and no one to help. They hire a lot of young females but can't seem to really support them through the different phases of life.

Worst place to ever join. As it's all about being a slavery to the management they fill the stomach of their family only. Wife. Sister, father, brothers all in same company as parasites. N they are so stingy to spend any penny in proper manner for their employees. No polices, rules, no legalities in place. No taxes paid, only deduct from employees promptly . No employee benefits, even management cry out for a luncheon for own employees. They throw the emps without a reason and never even allow to pass the exit in proper way. Always denial from solving the concerns of Emps. Learn from your shameless acts it's the quality of a wise. Don't think money can buy you goodwill or good people. Dont look at people with motive of buying them but look at the aspect of grooming them. Learn in being human n not like headless beings and then pretend as if your the only heartful people on earth. Given a chance take a survey on ur self you will feel killing yourself being a boss who is worthless running a ruthless management.

The best thing about working at ACOG is the flexibility and work/life balance. Employees may telework and flex once a week with supervisor approval. The biggest downside to women is the lack of maternity leave. Employees may use short-term disability for up to 90 days and earn half of their salary (up to $4,500 per week. Employees may extend this period by taking 6 months of unpaid leave (use of vacation and sick leave is allowed). Seeing that ACOG is a leader in women's healthcare, employs mostly women, and lobbies Congress for maternity leave, this is pretty pathetic. Once employees return to work they do have a very nice mother's room to pump and store breast milk.

I have worked for this company for a year an a half. I accepted the opportunity to work here with the intention of it being long term employment, but just could not stick it out. Very unsupportive work environment, little to no training after basics are covered and simply put employees are viewed as work horses and not humans.
