Flexibility depends on what assistant manager is over my area. The assistants rotate every six months. Some assistants are consistently flexible. More are more flexible with associates they are friends with or the mood they are in.

Hourly management expected to address associates privately and professionally. More support from management when associates are following policy rather than going against policy to avoid a confirtation with client.

Maybe. My recommendation would depend on the position they are interested in.

Don't be shy about advising your leaders about your accomplishments. Everyone is very time-crunched, so leaders are not always aware when their people score a big win. Be your own best advocate and you'll do well.

The company complies with local laws, so your flexibility may depend on where you live. Best case is to have a manager who is willing to empower team members to set their own hours. I've seen this work successfully in a few different departments.
