"The drivers are usually respectful and friendly, but at least at the store I worked at you had the type that would ask you to 'come back to their sleeper' at the end of your shift, slip you their number, the usual. But most importantly, at the Conover store I was at is a terrible place to work unless you're using the job as a stepping stone. Some of the more honest managers will tell you the true tea that's there's no real place for movement upwards even if they give you more responsibilities, at least at the Convonver NC store. They have their favorites that they run into the ground and if you don't fit that roll you're out and they will do anything to make you miserable. My biggest blessing was leaving the company. I was offered a job that paid $4 dollars more per hour full times, and now 3 years late I'm interviewing for higher paying salaried work. If you have any experience in another trade please work on that. This job give you no real experience in return. This job is good for a stepping stone as you find a job in your sector if you were laid off prior. There are so many more better opportunities out there with better cultures just around the corner. I don't even put them on my resume because it's just an embarrassment. "

"In our particular region, women have it a lot harder than men have it, and they have to work 3x harder to get what they want than men do, and usually still get little to no credit for it. Other regions are very enthusiastic about promoting men and women equally, and they are thriving at those locations."

"Personally, my manager allows me to choose when I need to work, when I need off, and how many hours i feel comfortable working within a work week. For other managers and some of the cashiers, he seems to not be so flexible with them, as in he is not being understanding of their personal lives and non-work related commitments."
