"In our particular region, women have it a lot harder than men have it, and they have to work 3x harder to get what they want than men do, and usually still get little to no credit for it.
Other regions are very enthusiastic about promoting men and women equally, and they are thriving at those locations."

"Personally, my manager allows me to choose when I need to work, when I need off, and how many hours i feel comfortable working within a work week.
For other managers and some of the cashiers, he seems to not be so flexible with them, as in he is not being understanding of their personal lives and non-work related commitments."

"If you are able to have others within the workplace on your side, you are more likely to be liked by the regional manager, in which helps you be promoted within the company. If the store manager and other managers are not on your side, it is near impossible to move up in any way."
