"Pinterest is doing a ton for moms and women. The recent hring of a female head of Diversity and Inclusion is a good step. The maternity and paternity benefits keep improving, and we are one of the best employers about hiring pregnant women. For such a small company, it's really impressive to see the number of pregnancies happening right now! There's a growing concern about lack of women at the executive level, but we have a few roles "to be hired" at the moment. If those can be filled by women it would be a huge step forward."

"I work in a more female-dominated org (can't really talk about the eng side) and have been treated very well. Everyone I've worked with has been down-to-earth and eager to learn and teach. However, because people are so nice, you can at times miss out on learning opportunities (as in people don't want to point out to you areas of improvement or they tend to beat around the bush). Management is definitely male-dominated, especially the higher up you go. However, it's an ongoing discussion, which is nice, and women meet regularly to discuss how to improve things."

"The support is quite thoughtful here. There are several groups (Moms, Dads, Parent, Women), so definitely encouraged. New parent leave has been a recent initiative which has provided more parity for all parents. Would like to see woman in more senior level roles (there aren't any at the executive level, but this isn't just specific to Pinterest)."
