It is a good place to work that is focused on expansion and not afraid to promote women into positions of influence. Flexibility and work life balance is highly dependent on location and job function. No official maternity leave policy in writing.

    The number of weeks paid are dependent on using STD. New policy for 2018 is employees with 6+ months of service but not more than 4 are paid 60% for 5 weeks, after 1 week waiting period. 4-5 year service are paid 80% and those with 6 or more years are paid 100%.

be prepared to be expected to work crazy hours, to be overloaded with work and have a very slim chance of promotion. Instead of promoting you to a new role they will gradually increase your responsibilities and make you report to someone who used to do the role (and they are paid more to do the same thing).

If you have good support at home this job is doable but not for single moms. Hours are all over the place, point system doesnt allow for kids gettong sick, overnight staus can be 3 nights/4 days. Hectic and draining work.

It is a woman dominated culture here so that is nice for career opportunities (specifically within buying), however there is no flex time, and often cannot keep up with the workload during office hours. I often take work home, work late, come in early.
