Long hours are expected and company culture does not foster a safe nor intellectually challenging environment. The company has poor ethics in regards to the environment and is reluctant to change.

Women are mostly in support roles. Some of the manufacturing areas are gender divided, but not purposely. It just seems that women end up in one type of department while men get to do the rest of the work in the plant. As far as office employees, most of the women are HR or accounting. The women aren't too supportive of each other from what I've seen. They tend to be clique-y.

Recommend to Women?
Maybe. While there are great women who work in other departments, it's a mostly male environment. Any woman that gets more than her fair share of attention from the men will receive some hostility from the other women. On the other side, the men can make the environment hostile for women.
