June 2017

U.S. Bank is striving to improve gender diversity in leadership roles, and I am hopeful there will be changes in the next 3-5 years as the older white males retire. We have a dedicated Diversity and Inclusion department, which seeks to improve. There are many women in lower management roles. Maternity benefits are excellent, and I do believe there will be more changes in the right direction given the bank's goal to improve in gender diversity. At least leadership is aware of the lack of gender diversity at the highest levels - which is a good start.

In our business line, there is no support for working remotely. It is run by men at the top and still very traditional in not allowing for laptops and people to accomplish things at home on more flexible timing. It is difficult to look up as a female and to believe that there really are possibilities to move up in the company, as everyone in every linear level above me is a male with a spouse that does not work outside the home.

These comments are centered around the Supply Chain organization. There are no women in leadership and career paths are not outlined. Promotions and fair pay are not conversations this area is ready to have or support. Be prepared to watch men be promoted and paid more. Women will be brought into the interview process to show diversity however these women are likely not on the same team.

March 2016

All executives at men and some do not treat woman equally. There have been a ton of leadership changes over the years. The company started with a female CEO but now leadership is saturated with males. Company has worked on trying to put in processes/procedures to help employee engagement but there are too many unknowns with where the company is going. I don't think new leadership cares about the employees and just looking to make a buck. Company pays for STD so maternity leave is 5 weeks paid at 60%

April 2015

Women are in the majority here, but if you look at the leadership it is pretty much all men. My advice is to work here early in your career because when you are ready for career advancement, you will not be considered.
