August 2018

While you have a little flexibility, less scheduled hours, and good benefits, the culture makes it difficult to be given promotions or opportunities to improve your own skills for promotions. Good place to get your feet under you, not the best if you have high career goals.

Don't mention trying to conceive if you work in R&D. It makes project assignments awkward if they involve mutagens.

Lots of room for growth but you will be forging your own path and you have to be persistent. No women on the leadership team (yet) and less than 30 in the whole company. (But we are mighty!)

Right now seat-time is very important to leadership and there are not enough parents at the company to sway them in the opposite direction.

September 2017

The firms is focused on areas that are high growth in the Financial Industry currently; therefore, the work is interesting. However, the hours are long and while there is flexibility, there are deadlines for client deliverables. Women who join the firm have to be comfortable in a high energy, direct, environment and willing to play multiple roles across the firm.

Flexibility depends on individual roles, but overall management is very understanding of family time. It's a work hard, play hard environment.

Incredible benefits. Insurance coverage is the best. The sick and vacation leave are a huge benefit to working here- 25 days of vacation, 13 days of sick leave plus holidays.

Women are not promoted into upper management or even considered for it. Being attractive and soft spoken are valued more than quality of work.
