"It mostly depends on your manger. Some are considerate that situations may arise in your personal life while others may not. The company culture is overall relaxed unless you are stuck with a bad manager. This is from the IT department perspective. The Finance department might be different.

"Raymond James is very much a great place to work, there are a lot of "lifers" in the organization that have been there for 15 years or more. The company prioritizes advancements and professional development with curated events and mentorship programs specifically for junior analysts. The New York office certainly had many women VPs and MDs, however the company has a very long way to go in terms of racial and ethnic diversity. I recall multiple meetings where I wasn't the only woman, but I was unfortunately the only woman of color in the room and I stuck out like a sore thumb. "

"In November 2019 they adjusted their Maternity leave from 8 weeks paid (and they take your vacation and sick to fill the gap if you take more) to 4 months full pay if you have been with them for more then a year (no loss of sick or vacation). Many groups have some WFH flexibility as well. It just differs between departments."
