When interviewing, ask to meet your peer group. This will help you determine if your management team is strong and supports female employees.

They are only just now coming into the 21st century with the idea of flexible hours or working remotely when necessary. I have never been told no, but I always feel like I'm pushing it. You can negotiate good pay and the benefits are pretty good.

April 2016

This is probably a great place to work if you are a fraternity brother coming right out of college. If you are a woman, do not expect to get promoted and expect to have your male colleagues treat you inappropriate. Some of the behavior I witnessed: *Male leaders telling women they aren't enough "of a bitch to work here" in interviews. *Male leaders making comments about a team member's penis size. *Male leaders disparaging women leaders in interviews.

January 2016

I have worked at Willis Group for almost 10 years. I do believe that women are treated fairly in my office, and there are many of us in support as well as leadership roles. I can't say that the same breakdown holds true in all offices; it seems as if the southern offices are more male-dominated. The future of the organization's culture is "up in the air", since we are currently going through a merger with Towers Watson.

November 2015

Sales reps do not get paid commission while on maternity lease. This policy is quite unfair, considering that sales reps can work on projects for years before the sale comes through.

July 2015

Women are often treated like secretaries regardless of their educational background or work experience. If you work here, you will usually be the only woman in the room if working in operations or engineering. There are no women above the mid-level manager range in the entire northeast region in operations.
