"I have been in jobs on both ends of the spectrum as far as gender equality (daycare jobs to military) and Republic Services has been a godsend. They are truly a company that wants women and minorities to thrive. And it's not just something nice that they say to the public like many companies I've encountered. They hold a twice yearly review board to discuss who can grow in the company and how, they even have a specific pipeline for women and minorities. The benefits are amazing (so much PTO) and a 6 week paid maternity leave. Since being employed here I have received 3 other job offers (one of which would be a promotion in an industry that I have many years of experience in) and I've turned them all down without much doubt because I love working here so much. I've recommended this company to everyone I know. I trust and believe in the recommendations of others about companies and jobs so I wouldn't be writing this if I truly did not believe everything I've written.
