"I answered the question in reference to maternity leave, I am not sure the same time is garanteed to fathers, though they do get at least a week of leave. Sandia has great sickness benefits, and if there were complications leave could be extended to months at reduced pay (I think it's 70%). "

"Women are definitely a minority still, but I have not felt discriminated against or any sexism for being a woman. The culture is very good and all people are listened to, whether it's an idea for improving a project or department process or a concern about how something is being done."

"The environment is very much collaborative and team oriented. They promote work-life balance and take the health and safety of the workforce serious. I'm a single, working mom and there is flexibility in the work along with the work schedules."
