"stand up for yourself! don't let time pass before you mention, to the person who caused the problem, that you don't care for that kind of interaction (the kind that leaves someone feeling less-than)."

"Since this is a tech company they are trying really hard to bring more women into the company. I'm still nursing (babe is <1) and the lactation room has a pretty tight schedule so I end up pumping in a conference room but that works great for me. There is a Women's Leadership Network and even though the company is majority male, it is still inviting."

"Improve work-life balance and policies (e.g. flex-time, limit face time)"

"Flexibility definitely depends on your manager and your position. My role is very entry-level and so strict with my hours and limited options for working from home although the majority of my department has very flexible schedules and options to work remotely. "

"There are very few women in senior positions. The company is careful to be legally and politically correct, but the numbers tell the story--nearly all senior positions and those just below them are held by men."

"I've worked here for over 3 years and it seems to have gone backwards from when I started. Finances are micro-managed from the top. The morale is bad among both genders of employees. Support roles are predominately women and overworked. The mid-level positions held by women are stifled by upper management, who are predominately men."
