"Promotions from within are very rare. Title bumps (from coordinator to “senior coordinator” do not compensate for low pay). "

"Would like to work from home one day a week with laptop supplied by employer (software I have to use won’t work on my computer at home). Also, my supervisor is among the many who cannot organize herself to create a predictable schedule for things that involve me. Any work from home day would be ad hoc and likely to change at a moments’ notice."

"Varies by department, but mine is very male driven, leaderships, faculty, etc. Not a lot of options for growth or promotion."
