"The company in general is a family company so work life balance is emphasized. Bosses do not expect or want you to work a lot of overtime. My boss encouraged me to take a short break and hit the gym during stressful periods because she knew it was important. She said she doesn't expect me to be glued to my desk, which I really appreciated. "

"In my experience, executives are male-dominated, and those few women at the top are not advocating for a flexible working environment for parents. Overtime is given a much higher priority for advancing in the company than quality of work. No paid maternity leave, but they do allow you to use long-term accrued sick."
