"Being a woman at Shutterstock is often very frustrating; there is lots of talk of diversity within the company culture, yet all of the upper managers are white men. I've only had a man as a boss, and have only seen men promoted to more senior leadership positions. To sum it up, I worked with more managers named Matt than I did with any women managers. "

"Unfortunately I think Shutterstock has taken several steps backward in regards to promoting a work-life balance. They are cracking down on the hours people are expected to be in the office and several emails have recently gone out explaining the lack of a work from home policy. There has also been little done to help women transition back to the workforce from maternity leave or promote and recruit women in technology positions."

"Flexibility varies depending on your role and manager, I do wish there were better company policies that allowed for greater flexibility. There is no work from home policy and it is expected that you are in the office from 9am-6pm."

"I was there briefly. Tech-y office culture, nerdy but friendly employees. Great staff lunch and beverages on-site."
