Lots of support from other women and also the men in the company. The company is very diversity supportive.

It's within a male dominated industry, though Findorff brags about hiring more women than most, you're still going to be working in a boys club at this company and you will always be treated as support staff as a woman even if you move up.

February 2016

The company is structured as a consulting firm, with many partners. From a partnership perspective, men advance as partners faster than women. And overall, the company culture is not supportive of working parents. The hours are very long and there aren't many examples of working moms who are strong leaders there. Maternity leave is very generous, but you need more than that to support working mothers.

Front office lacks diversity (race and sex), like most investment management firms. For how ahead of the curve they are on retirement and hours, they are equally behind the curve on female specific benefits. When looking at industry standards, here's how they shake out: Below average: Vacation Salary IVF Freezing eggs Upward mobility Quality of managers varies immensely Average: Maternity time Above average: Hours/work, life balance Retirement benefits

Men and women are treated fairly and equally. Expect to work more than your typical 8-9 hr day. The women who are here are all strong women. Getting to the top in this small company is not insurmountable, but do expect to make it your life's effort to do so.
