June 2018

Considering 80% of the workforce is female - very few women in leadership roles, and antiquated benefits supporting women and working moms.

I would tell her that although there is much to be improved on, the UN is still a good employer.

Female-dominated mid-level management och male-dominated management and board, otherwise pretty equal gender diversity.

January 2016

There are very few women in leadership positions. Work/life balance can get pretty bad depending on what department you're working for. Basically they get as much out of their employees as they can while paying them as little as possible. There is a bias against younger employees, particularly young women.

This is a place to be avoided. The culture is very negative, always looking to blame, rather than fix the issues and while women are prevalent. Employees in general are not treated well.

April 2015

Most of the top tier executives have been with the company ~ 20+ years, so changes and progress are slow. The EDA market is mature, so very little growth potential; this resulted in a significant number of senior managers with limited upward mobility. There is a relatively small circle of key management so unless you are part of the circle, career advancement can be a challenge, specifically for women in this company.
