"overall, I believe the pay is fairly equitable between men and women which is very nice to see nowadays. Benefits are so so. Nothing really outstanding. Employee development across all levels and genders is a little lacking for a fortune 500 company. There is succession plans, but unless you have been identified as one of the selected, you really won't know anything about them and probably won't know how to be considered or what to work on to be considered. Merit raises are pretty much straight across the board with a few departments actually tying it to your review. "

"There is flexibility. The big thing is we are adults and as adults we need to get our job/projects done on time. Some areas have more flexibility than others as it depends on your position and responsibilities. "

"Sonoco has an amazing culture that I value highly. Their company value is to "Do the Right Thing" and I really believe most people there take it to heart. They just need to promote more women into leadership positions. "

"Although there aren't a lot of women in leadership roles currently, the development opportunities within Sonoco are wonderful. More women are on the rise, it will just take time. "

"For corporate roles it's more flexible, but given we're in manufacturing, you can't make a product from home...so if you want to work remotely, and work in manufacturing, that's just not realistic."
