It's progressive compared to the norm, but I believe they can do more in terms of compensation and hiring more female senior managers.

    Obviously I wish it were longer, but they add in an extra two weeks of "parental leave" on top of the disability leave. That helped.

They appear to have great policies but that doesn't mean that you are able to utilize the policies like teleworking or flex hours. They are only available in certain departments. Also there is no paid maturnity leave.

There is a lot of favoritism towards many men within the company. You have to work twice as hard to stand out and get paid less. Software and technology has been mainly male driven; there are many passionate women who work here and are trying to improve this mindset and tradition.

Ivymount is an incredible place to work as a parent. The hours for admin staff are so flexible, working from home is more than supported, and family always comes first.

I believe women are respected and treated equally, but management is male-dominated. The maternity leave policy is sub-par. They only offer four weeks of paid leave and only if you've worked there for a full year. I felt taking the time to be with my child was important, so I took it unpaid, but the financial implications left me with a bad taste in my mouth about the company.

There are a lot of women working at Excella but they aren't enough women in leadership roles. At the partner level it's all male and not diverse. And I haven't seen too many mid-level women advance, instead they've all started to leave.

The partnership is very white and male, and the same demographic seems to have an easier time networking and gaining trust, and in turn, responsibility. Face time and chit chat are important, and so introverts suffer. Maternity leave is on par with other large firms, but it is clear by the disorganization around the process that not many people take it.
