"While working here, my manager acted in a borderline abusive way (commenting on my appearance/mannerisms, yelling at me until I cried because I made a mistake, ironically telling me to smile more, etc.) She is no longer with the company, and it was definitely the result of a toxic cycle coming from the top (the CMO, who is also no longer with the company, behaved that way to my manager at the time, and she would lash out at me as a result.) The company has faced MASSIVE turnover since, so I can't be sure what the culture is like anymore, but proceed with caution. It's a great cause, and I worked with some insanely talented/wonderful people, but those who worked hard were often underappreciated/ignored. "
