I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this place to a woman who wants to be happy at work. It’s an okay place to cut your teeth, but it’s not a place you can succeed in long term.

Expectation of face time, and strong resistance to working remote (extra scrutiny, side-eye, etc.), particularly for women. Long hours are rewarded, even if they aren’t productive.

I still think sales and marketing have room for improvement. With marketing, it is really dependent on your manager. Engineering hasn't fit into the stereotypes that are common in tech, but there's still some subtle unconscious bias. Overall, I've been happy to work here and relatively satisfied with the direction of recent improvements.

Every team I've seen has been very accommodating of circumstances. Support can be a bit more difficult because of the type of work, but still, understanding managers.

There are plenty of women in leadership positions, and women are promoted often. The maternity leave is standard, as far as I can tell - we're lucky to have one, but it could be much better.

Any workplace flexibility is entirely dependent on unit leadership, and is negotiated at that level - there are no university-wise policies allowing for official flextime.

They offer 8 weeks paid and an additional 4 unpaid. When I asked about it I was told to avoid raising the issue to the head of HR who is a woman who had multiple children while at Stifel and find its sufficient.
