Horrible. High employee turnover rate. He is racist and sexist who doesn't believe anyone (HR manager can only make decisions when he is out of the office for business trip). He prefers guys over girls, prefers whites than other people of color (none-whites). Worst employer ever.

Many women are in leadership positions. There are transparent processes for status reports and promotions. The person who has the best solutions is valued over the person with the loudest voice. The work environment is very family-friendly, flexible hours, daycare, etc. That being said, it is engineering, so expect a male-dominated environment. One weird impact of being an engineering company is that the women scientists all dress frumpy and conservative, due to strict lab-safety policies, but the women administrators can wear skirts, pumps, and sleeveless tops.

There are a pretty high proportion of women with advanced STEM degrees working here, and I felt that women are treated fairly and given opportunities for leadership in many areas. The company in general has gone through some rough spots management-wise, but gender issues have not been an obvious problem.
