I've been with Sodexo going on 5 years. Sodexo has an impressive number of women in leadership positions, with strong goals supporting an increase in the coming years. There are ample opportunities for growth and development in just about all areas of the business. There is also a strong Business Resource Group for women (and men) called WING.

It's a very traditional company that is coming into the 21st century here and there, but the benefits are expensive and lacking. While the people are mostly wonderful (in my experience), the "old boys" network is real, and the discrimination is subtle but present.

Lots of talk about work life balance but company is inconsistent in practice. Maternity leave was a disappointment - few women take full leave. Came back from leave and had choice between "mommy track" or traveling 70% for promotion with a newborn. Both global and US CEOs are women.
