September 2018

Don’t take the job, particularly on the technology side of the organization. Although they speak all the right words to imply they are “changing”, the same mean spirited, male dominated team still is in place. No changes in leadership that matter, not for many, many years.

They will only hire men for management positions. Period. It is a privately owned company. The owner typically hires only younger men for all positions.

Penguin Random House Mexico review It's good to work here, What I think that is not working is the leadership in the áreas, as they are not promoting to be one Enterprise.

The company is in a major flux right now and corporate doesn't tell you much. Wish there was more transparency. Also, they're cutting staff all over the company and expecting the existing small teams to pick up the extra work which means long hours and way too much on your plate.

The faith-focus is very strong, so the culture tends to reflect values like compassion, prayer, & giving back to the local community; however employee benefits seemed less competitive and more expensive than previous employers. No maternity leave policy.

Entry level positions have set salaries so pay is equal. Working on budgets I've seen inequality at higher levels, but more so because people come from outside rather than moving up.

February 2016

I have been working here for one year and I still feel like I am in the "honeymoon" period. People are mature and professional and our organization lacks serious drama which is so refreshing. I believe women could be better represented at the leadership table.

I can't attest to the company, or even the whole department. But the bulk of the research group I work with is female. As such they're accustomed to balancing multiple maternity leaves at the same time.
