"For years, it has been a phenomenal place to work. I have an amazing manager and team. I learn so much and have been given a ton of flexibility, mentorship, and support.
Today, I was passed over for a promotion to a leadership role based on one white man's negative review of me (this is someone that I've barely worked with, but said I was indecisive). Their perspective gave no examples and was in direct contrast to 5 glowing reviews from colleagues I work closely with. I am extremely disappointed and discouraged. My manager teared up and told me he had cried several times because of how biased and unfair this decison was.
So far only 5 white men have been in this role. "

"I would highly recommend anyone, regardless of sex, gender, orientation, creed, nationality... literally anyone would be treated very well at Twilio."
