Skinny strongly advertises an equal kitchen, but hovers just under that standard. In the end, individual people and their values determine how things are run. Male employees are more readily welcomed into the culture, and encouraged to succeed. Can be daunting, but helps to have other femme coworkers / the occasional solid supervisor.

There are a pretty high proportion of women with advanced STEM degrees working here, and I felt that women are treated fairly and given opportunities for leadership in many areas. The company in general has gone through some rough spots management-wise, but gender issues have not been an obvious problem.

Assert yourself and be yourself. Work hard and whatever shape that takes, do not let veteran Directors who are actually not producing make you feel badly because you might not work their hours.
