March 2018

Overall, men are paid higher than women, even for the same jobs, while women get stuck with extra work. It's infuriating. I think it's probably endemic of the entire industry, which is full of middle-aged white men, but that doesn't make it any better.

March 2018

Overall, great place to work. I and a few other co-workers who were allowed to work part-time while their children were young. There always could be more women in leadership positions but this company has quite a bit more than the norm.

Flexibility is great, but the compensation doesn't correspond with the cost of living in Hawaii.

Yes, great health benefits and 5 weeks of PTO. Some flexibility, maternity leave isn't the best from what I have heard.

February 2016

You are surrounded by a lot of women as the faculty is made up primarily of females. In that, you find a lot of camaraderie. But also because of the large amount of women, males become this valuable and rare commodity often getting to make mistakes that would not be excused otherwise.
