"Lip-service is given to gender equity. However, we've been asking for a review of policies and salaries for nearly 15 years and it keeps getting put off."

"It really depends on the professor that you will be working under. Some are extremely strict and sexist, and some are feminists and support you fully. Make sure to research the professor you will be working underneath before doing a project with them."
