"I would say that while it may seem like there are a lot of women that work here, in the grand scheme of things they are all in departments not male dominant. You will hardly find women in the STEM departments. It also discouraging to see the pay gap between men and women. All salary information is public, so see for yourself. "

"Similar to other universities, KU struggles with the lack of women in the sciences. There is occasionally a professor with sexist tendencies, but overall it is a female-friendly place to study and do research."
