"Like many other companies, if you intend to make use of all the great benefits (flexible schedules, parental leave) expect to be penalized. Vanguard is very secretive about employee pay so although they make many claims about women and men being paid equally for equal work and women in leadership there is no available data to support this."

"Vanguard has a great culture and mission - to help every day people reach their financial dreams. With main campus located in a plush Philadelphia suburb, the company is worlds away from Wall Street, both by location and attitude. At Vanguard, I love working with smart, driven people who are honestly very kind and friendly. People care about doing the right thing for the company and the clients. With integrity, work ethic and the right attitude you can really follow your passion at Vanguard."

"The higher up you are in the organization. the more resources you have available to utilize however the lower you are the harder it is to be able to utilize any resources available. Execs preach work-life balance but lower levels don't get the opportunity to practice it."

"It was disheartening to see upper management new moms get promotions as they returned to work, however anyone in lower non-management roles don't even have the opportunity to apply for roles while they are out on maternity leave."
