Speak up as soon as there's a problem, but be cautious which people you confide in. There's a lot of talk (and to be fair, some actions) around inclusion and diversity, but don't be lulled into thinking the same problems can't happen here as any other company.

It comes down to the specific team in which you work. Some teams are supportive and inclusive, while other teams are hostile environments where you're alternately ignored and blamed. Due to rapid growth, individuals have been promoted to management positions who are deeply unsuited.
Improve the company culture across all teams. Focus on hiring and promoting people who are good at leading and managing, not just subject matter experts.

Hiring and retaining strong female leaders is a big priority for the company, which has been historically very male-focused. At this point you're still more likely than not to be one of the few females in the room if you're at the higher levels, but that is changing. The men in the company still need to learn that men and women express themselves differently (they can suck the air out of a room), but I'm very happy with the family leave policies and the focus on diversity.
