There is a ton of flexibility being an outside sales executive, but it's hard work with high goals.

It's not about gender, the work life balance is just not there. There is no appreication for extra hard work. The company wants to come before you and your family.

January 2016

McKinsey is making a good effort to get and keep more female employees, so I thought there were a lot of opportunities to have mentors, join office groups, etc. There is a high premium placed on being a frequent contributor during meetings, which is challenging when that's not your style.

if you are a female wanting full time the only departments that might give it to you would be deli or bakery departments the rest you would have to be a man. I have been fighting for 7 years to get full time.

June 2015

I've worked here for 10 years. I work in a support function that is mostly women on matrix teams that are mostly men. The company is trying hard to figure out why there are fewer women in senior ranks, so there is openness to change and improvement. We always rank well in work/life balance rankings and working mother listings. The on site day care here is equalled by none. I was helped by both of those earlier in my career. It gets harder, the higher you get in the company.
