I would avoid working here at all costs. The culture is terrible. The whole base is run by "the good ol boys club". Employees are penalized for trying to improve processes and recognizing inefficiencies. Upper management feels threatened by those who want to improve and take away workload in order to avoid exposure to whatever it is they are hiding.

Very male-dominated organization, as most construction firms are. Many at the top recognize the need for more diversity and inclusion but likely will find it hard to implement change to actually achieve that (like changing maternity leave policy). Current policy falls under short-term disability and covers only 6 weeks at 60% pay. The only upside is that the firm gives every other Friday off throughout the year.

The best thing about working at ACOG is the flexibility and work/life balance. Employees may telework and flex once a week with supervisor approval. The biggest downside to women is the lack of maternity leave. Employees may use short-term disability for up to 90 days and earn half of their salary (up to $4,500 per week. Employees may extend this period by taking 6 months of unpaid leave (use of vacation and sick leave is allowed). Seeing that ACOG is a leader in women's healthcare, employs mostly women, and lobbies Congress for maternity leave, this is pretty pathetic. Once employees return to work they do have a very nice mother's room to pump and store breast milk.

Review for New York/ New Jersey RBC CM finance office - Good company, quite conservative and therefore stable. It is mostly male dominated in management roles and it's quite hard to get promoted (for everyone, not just women) as the departmen is management heavy. There is no good career guidance. However, you start with 4 weeks of paid time off (vacation & sick leave) and 3 floaters (holidays that fall on working days). After 2 years with the company you receive additional 4 days off. Current maternity leave is 3 months which, sadly, in the United States is considered great. There is also paternity time allowed but not sure how many days. Lots of nice people work at RBC CM.
