HOW TO SWITCH YOUR THINKING FROM LACK TO ABUNDANCE

I used to panic a bit when I got to 2:00 pm. With about 1.5 hours left before my kids would get home, I looked at my to-do list that hadn’t seemed to shorten. But recently I challenged myself to think differently about that 90 minutes. Instead of focusing on how little time I have left in my workday, I’m now thinking about the ONE important thing I can accomplish in that time. For example, one day I worked on my amazing client’s resume...tweaking and fixing and making it look SOOO DAMN GOOD! She got a gorgeous, polished resume. I felt so good about it. WIN-WIN. How can you change your thinking around how much time you have? P.S. Tomorrow is September 1 and I have an opening in my 1:1 program: FROM STUCK TO FULFILLED: A CAREER TRANSFORMATION. DM me if you think you want the spot.

Hi Lisa - this is wonderful. I love how you set that intention BEFORE his nap. It would be easy to use that time for laundry and chores, but you use it to focus on yourself...which is very much deserved. Well done!!

This is great, my son naps for two hours every afternoon and beforehand I choose a task to complete in that time. It means that in the chaos of the everyday, I can get to the evening and know I achieved something. Today I am going to work on my diploma.
