HOW MY BELIEFS ABOUT CHANGE HAVE CHANGED
Up until recently I felt disappointed, frustrated, and annoyed with myself when I had the urge for something different. You see, unlike so many others, I like routine in some areas of my life, but in many others I need change.
But I always looked at that as a negative. I thought I was constantly breaking commitments to myself.
Now, I’m trying to embrace change. It’s amazing how my world has opened up since I stopped punishing myself for needing to shake things up.
--For exercise, I now complete a 6-8 week @beachbody program and then move on to a different one.
--For self-development work, I just do what feels right at the moment instead of sticking to a routine.
