Hi,
If a company offer 6 months paid paternity leave, does anyone know how long you have to work at the company to qualify?
Thank you!
Request written hr policy to see if the document addresses this. If it doesn’t talk to hr and ask them to point to document where it’s addressed in writing
There may also be a required commitment when returning from leave. My office has one - if you quit during that time, you have to repay your leave. Again, check with HR.
It's a company specific policy and will be outlined in the company handbook.
In my experience, it depends on the company-the policy may state you have to be an employee for 12 months. Great question to ask though when speaking with the recruiter-you should definitely learn about a company's benefits package and ensure it aligns with what works best for you
Thank you!
