Your state may have an affiliated company i.e. American Job Center, that they use to help people get back to work. The American Job Center offers seminars and professional resume writing services. Check it out, I just got my resume updated and have received positive feed back from two sources.

I just paid A LOT of money and hired someone to do this at an Executive level. I got swindled. Im out $3,000+ with no updated resume. Also, this person has a large internet presence with every qualification and would lead you to believe is one of the most experienced resume/career coaches on the internet. So just be careful what you see and read out there.

wow!!! That is a lot and that's terrible! Sorry to hear but glad you are sharing so others are aware.
Typically, when I look for service I look for reviews / testimonials and samples of their work to see if they are legit and if it matches what I want.

Unfortunately, I did all of that. She appears very legit and by all accounts I think she might be. Just ended up providing me with a half rated service and then she stopped communicating.
