I'm Alison, I am an Office Manager for a tech company outside of Philadelphia. I have dyscalculia and I suspect some ASD traits as well. My 8 year old son has ADHD and ASD. I'm looking forward to learning more about you all and how you operate in a professional setting.
Hi Alison & Michala - I'm wondering if either of you have noticed a progression? I used to be able to remember/manage so many things and it seems that over the past couple years I forget something almost immediately and even when I start to-do lists they are in several different places. I just CANNOT seem to get organized and it's beginning to affect my confidence. Tips?

anyway, YES! I personally think that it gets worse with age. But that could also be due to the fact that we have so much more on our plates now than 20 years ago
I haven't noticed a progression, so much as it's just shifted a lot with Covid. I've also been at my current job for 6 years, so pre-Covid, so much of what I did had been just ingrained into me that it was easy for me to stay organized. Now that I'm WFH until our office re-opens and juggling a child who is schooling from home, I have notices that it is MUCH harder to stay organized.
Are you back in the office or are you working remotely still? If you are in the office, have a notebook or post its in your hand at all times. Block off 15 minutes at the start of your day, preferably not at your desk, to go through your post its and notebook and create a plan for the day. use color coding on it for easy reference. Unless something is a true emergency, don't stop what you are doing to attend to it. Write it down and incorporate it into the next day's plan.
If you are at home, set timers and reminders on your phone or Alexa. Alexa has saved me from missing calls and appointments more times than I care to admit.
It's taken me sometime to fine a system and it's still not great but play around with those ideas and see what helps and go from there.
Hi there Alison! I have ADHD and I manage by using multiple to do lists. I have a living excel document that lists all my "to do" items that I add as I get them (Immediately or I forget) as well as a notes section to tell me what has been completed and what has been done and a due date section. Then once a day I put in calendar items to give me reminders. I have several 1:1s with those I support (I am an EA who has OM duties) to keep me on task.
