    Position summary

    growth. The Distributor Key Account Manager works in the market alongside Distributor Sales Reps and the field team to uncover new business leads or significant account development opportunities.

    This role supports the AFH Foods Central Region, will call on key foodservice distributors in TX, and reports directly into the Texas Area Sales Manager.

    This person must reside in a major metro market within Texas: Dallas, Houston, or Austin.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with distributor leadership to develop void closure strategy and ensure core assortment and product mix optimization

    • Execute a minimum of 20 in-person selling calls per week with Distributor sales reps and/or field team members as logged in Salesforce weekly

    • Deliver $1MM in New Business annually rooted

    • Develop New Business strategy for wired Distributors

    • Execute quarterly business reviews and joint business planning sessions at wired customers

    • Accelerate Innovation with 100% quarterly priority items secured at all wired opsites

    • Collaborate with PepsiCo national customer teams to ensure alignment on HQ-led selling initiatives

    • Execute quarterly work-withs with each National Distributor Lead

    • Partner with Pepsi Beverage selling teams to unlock new foodservice opportunities

    • Lead programming for any marketing funds or spiffs that incentivize sales

    • Aid in development of Central Region AOP plans as the Distributor expert

    • Share best practices and key insights for wired Distributors

    • Represent PepsiCo portfolio, notably, Frito-Lay, Quaker, Sabra, and Oh Snap!

    • Deliver annual growth targets as measured by collective Distributor opsites

    • On-going analysis and review of business trends to identify gaps in plan and execution

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Minimum of 4+ years of sales experience

    • Foodservice Distributor experience strongly preferred

    • Ability to travel approximately 40% - 60% of the week

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills

    • Seasoned in conflict management

    • Strong computer skills

    • Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions

    • Proven leadership capability with a track record of influencing large multi-level teams

    • Commitment and ability to succeed within a fast-paced organization

    • Self-starter, ability, and desire to work independently

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Ability to analyze and solve complex business issues

    • Demonstrated professionalism and dependability
