    Position summary

    • Budget Management: Oversee the local EHS budget.

    • Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of EHS Annual Operating and Action Plans.

    • Safety Targets: Achieve goals for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and Environmental rates.

    • Incident Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and environmental incidents.

    • Training and Auditing: Conduct EHS training, assessments, and audits to maintain compliance.

    • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and implement effective control measures.

    • Leadership and Communication: Act as a change leader, influencing continuous improvement in safety performance.

    Qualifications

    What We're Looking For:

    • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.

    • Organized and Analytical: Demonstrates solid problem-solving and organizational skills.

    • Change Leader: Professional maturity with the ability to lead and influence change.

    • Technical Knowledge: Functional EHS knowledge in safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations.

    • Project Management: Proven skills in managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree with 7-9 years of EHS experience or High School Diploma with 15+ years of EHS experience.

    • Preferred Experience: EHS management in consumer packaged goods, distribution, manufacturing, or grocery industries.

    • EHS Management Systems: Experience with EHS management systems and auditing.
