    Position summary

    Division. The Unit General Manager (UGM) Designate will participate in a formalized program designed to provide the tools, training, and experiences needed to successfully transition into Pepsico and ultimately be placed in a UGM role. After completing this 6-9 month program, designates may need to relocate within the Pennsylvania Market if required for permanent role placement.

    Responsibilities

    Designate Responsibilities:

    • Successfully onboard into PepsiCo and complete ~6-9 month designate program

    • Effectively build and create relationships with leadership, coach, mentor, and frontline

    • Complete all assigned tasks and projects

    • Effectively take on leadership position within your assigned territory

    • Learn the fundamental skills required of a UGM within the North Division

    • Successfully complete certification

    UGM Responsibilities:

    • Leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional distribution center to include sales, delivery, customer service, and marketing equipment.

    • Maximize volume and revenue in a defined geography in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment

    • Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards

    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution

    • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance

    • Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while effectively managing the location P&L and managing costs.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, MBA a plus

    • Consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment preferred

    • A minimum of 5 years of proven people leadership experience

    • Strong communication and presentation skills

    • Business and Financial Acumen; Analytics and Insights to create and drive strategy

    • Awareness of levers to drive success with team and in market

    • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite

    • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically

    • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
