The Project Engineering Leader will lead Lean Six Sigma and Productivity projects and effectively coordinate these projects with the functional deployment champion and other improvement project teams.
Project leadership includes identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects, launching project teams, using good project management to manage team activities, leading teams to execute projects with the problem-solving methodology, tracking project status and results, removing and elevating project barriers, and developing team members.
It is also critical to identify integration issues with other projects, processes, and functions and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.
Responsibilities
Leverage DMAIC and project management approach to lead cross-functional productivity projects
Provide productivity project coaching (Green Belts, Kaizen Leaders, Process Improvement Leads, FI Pillar Leads) to help accelerate productivity initiatives
Maintain tracking of Productivity initiatives and provide senior leadership with the results and recommendations on corrective action
Lead/facilitate project identification (LSS and Non-LSS) to develop productivity pipeline and projects for overall performance improvement
Lead productivity project governance processes with teams
Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy
Ability to work across other functions and business units
Identifies opportunities to stretch across functions and seek best practices to drive productivity across the PBNA Supply Chain
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of professional-level experience in leading improvement teams
Prior supervisory experience is a plus
Solid project management skills and team leadership skills
Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Research and Development, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Logistics
Ability to lead and direct multi-functional improvement teams
Must be a results-oriented 'change agent' who is an effective business systems thinker
Effectively communicate with all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing the Business Unit's goals
Must be able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals
Understand statistical analysis tools/methodology, project management, Lean Six Sigma, quality and basic financial principles and apply them to analyze the planned activities
The candidate for this position must be pro-active, analytical, process-driven, with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the customer
Previous Black Belt or Green Belt background in Lean Six Sigma desirable
Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time
