    Position summary

    lude reviewing ingredient questionnaires and working directly with suppliers to ensure all information is complete and accurate to feed into our internal systems, generate label content and ultimately final packaging graphics.

    • This role involves authoring ingredient statements, nutrition facts, substantiating claims, and approving graphics that help consumers make informed choices about PepsiCo Foods. In this role you will be responsible for multiple Frito-Lay and Quaker brands and ensuring the accuracy of the regulatory information in R&D databases, in specifications and on final artwork. The position will involve work on multiple product task force groups to provide input on nutrition labeling, claims and regulatory questions as well as packaging timelines.

    • The role will also be responsible for reviewing and maintaining Regulatory Affairs data and systems to ensure information used in product labeling is complete and accurate. The person in this role will serve as the point person for any changes or enhancements needed within our internal labeling system related to ingredients. In addition, this person will manage requests for ingredient documentation and certifications to support product labeling and claims.

    • The position will require outstanding attention to detail and a passion for proper processes and documentation. Strong project management, prioritization and influencing skills will be required to move timelines forward. A desire to help others and collaborate for the success of the team will be key to success in this role. A thorough understanding of US Food and Drug Administration labeling regulations will be an asset.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $69,900 - $117,000.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • BS in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent as minimum

    • Advanced computer skills

    • Minimum of 2 years of regulatory affairs experience with strong knowledge of FDA and USDA food regulations

    • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • Ability to prioritize workload, balance multiple tasks and work independently.

    • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meet deadlines.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Previous experience working in product specification, regulatory and/or product lifecycle management tools.
